Warum Bambus?
Kurz gesagt: Bambus ist fantastisch.
Mithilfe dieses magischen Grases (Japp, Bambus ist eigentlich Gras!) erzeugen wir 65% weniger Kohlenstoff-Emissionen als bei der Verarbeitung von konventionellen Bäumen und vermeiden dabei gleichzeitig die Abholzung von Wäldern.
Wir beziehen unseren Bambus aus FSC-zertifizierten Beständen - und keine Sorge, die Pandas müssen nicht hungern, denn sie fressen eine ganz andere Bambusart als jene, die wir für unsere Produkte verwenden.
Außerdem sind Bambusfasern von Natur aus lang, glatt und abgerundet. Die natürliche Länge und glatte Oberfläche der einzelnen Bambusfasern sorgt dafür, dass sie zu weniger Abrieb führen und Bambus weicher als andere Materialien sind.

Wir gleichen die Kohlenstoffemissionen, die durch unsere Produktion entstehen, mit dem World Land Trust aus, um Regenwälder in Vietnam wieder aufzubauen und den Lebensraum von Tieren zu schützen, ganz ohne dabei überschüssigen Kohlenstoff an die Umwelt abzugeben.
